Dear Families,
Welcome to 2025! December was an incredible month here at RCE, filled with numerous events and fun activities for our students and families. We are so grateful that many of you were able to join us for these special moments.
We have completed our second round of state testing for grades K-5. Our students demonstrated remarkable growth, and we are incredibly proud of their progress. This year, our school improvement goals focus on increasing proficiency, which means being on grade level. We hope to continue seeing higher levels of proficiency as the school year progresses. Thank you for supporting classroom instruction, including reading at home and helping your child complete their homework.
Soon, our students will have the opportunity to showcase what they have learned through the iReady program. This program targets specific, individually selected skills for each student in Reading and Math. We are excited to continue discovering our children’s strengths and helping them grow.
We are also continuing our search for outstanding RCE citizens to recognize with our monthly Gopher It Club. Thank you for encouraging your child to always demonstrate respect to peers and adults at school.
